PLA´s China to dispatch peacekeeping force to Mali in May.

The 4th Chinese peacekeeping force to Mali was formed in the PLA’s 16th Combined Corps on Thursday. It is composed of a 155-member engineer detachment, a 170-member guard detachment and a 70-member medical detachment.
To date, all members for the three detachments have received strict adaptability training and got ready for departure.
The 395 Chinese peacekeepers will be dispatched in two batches to Mali in May. It is learnt that they will be embraced by heavier security and guarding tasks in the peacekeeping camp area, more road and bridge construction missions and longer peacekeeping duties time than before. READ ARTICLE HERE
